Imra’s Ocean is a magical realist, poetic film following the coming of age ceremony of five characters which live in an alternate history. The film explores themes of eco feminism and grieving, humans living in a symbiotic relationship with nature and developing into hybrid, more than human species which dismantle anthropocentric and gender binary thinking.
